Project Description:
The purpose of this project, funded by USAID, was to upgrade the apple production and sortation in that area to meet international quality standards. The client being very strict on quality of the building, assigned Mezher Steel to design and build his new plant. We delivered a massive open space area covered by top of the line sandwich panels roof and walls to withstand external cold temperature. The main challenge was to design the roof to support up to 2 meters of snow under extreme conditions.
