Project Description:

Mezher Steel was commissioned by one of the largest food producer in Lebanon to design and build one of the largest food manufacturing complexes in the region. The project consisted of designing, manufacturing and building three steel towers up to 36 meters in height.

Unit 1: Smallest of the three units, it was constructed between two concrete buildings to act as a link between the processes of each building. The exterior façade was covered by OLG 102 metal panels in grey colors

Unit 2: A narrow and tall building (h=36 m) with a top-down manufacturing process. Each floor was designed to take heavy point loads at certain point. The building being narrow, tall and at a proximity to the coast, the main challenge was to design it for strong lateral wind loads. The exterior façade was covered by OLG 102 metal panels in grey colors

Unit 2: A large manufacturing building with base dimension of 30×30 m and height of 36 meters, surrounded by two single sloped hangars. The exterior façade was covered by Mezher SF grey sandwich panel which created a beautiful seamless façade.
